Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer - London ( hybrid with one day in the office)
LexisNexis are looking for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join a team leading pipeline development. The role will drive and support the modernization of our deployment pathways across Global teams.
Helping to onboard new customers onto new pipelines and help support our every growing cloud initiatives, You will have experience in building robust release pipelines in the cloud, utilising CI/CD concepts and knowledge of the latest trends in DevOps.
You will be an instigator and model citizen in establishing an Agile, value-driven culture and ensuring we are building high-quality products that the business is proud of. You will be a pivotal member of the Global Cloud Engineering teams, working, and supporting the business to create complex research, design, and software tools for customers.
Your skills and experience:Experience in Cloud hosting environments (AWS preferred).CI/CD pipelines, experience in designing resilient pipelines, supporting, and troubleshooting.DevOps and operational skills covering Infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management knowledge (Terraform preferred).Knowledge of containerisation technologies and their operations, and administration of containers.Problem-solving, researching, coordinating, effectively troubleshooting/diagnosing infrastructure issues.Scripting skills with experience in python, PowerShell, bash/Unix admin, and/or other scripting languages used in the cloud (Go/C#).It would be great if you had the following, but you will have the chance to gain this experience:AWS certifications from the Professional level covering DevOps, Security, and ArchitectureContainer experience.How will you add value to this role?The DevOps / Cloud Engineer position performs operational support and consultancy to development teams. Will be creating, supporting, and improving continuous integration and deployment pipelines and platforms across various technologies.Collaborate with local and global teams within IT and product areas, participating and running projects where required.Implement best practices and company security policies.Proactively identify areas for improvement in cloud estate.Review, improve and automate processes used by the team and department. Provide support to development teams to improve and troubleshoot continuous integration and deployment pipelines driving DORA elite.Perform daily operational support within AWS accounts.Working for you
