Coordinate with JS, and USSTRATCOM HQ staff to develop NC3 Governance I-plan and associated documents for NC3 Governance Initiative (NGI). Identify organizational responsibilities and processes that inform capability and resource requirements for IOC and FOC of the NC3 Governance Initiative -Provide Nuclear SME support for J3 tasks w/ future Nuclear strategy & concepts -Support J3 with information papers, briefings, emails and analysis in support of future nuclear operations -Provide J3 support to the Polo Hat Program, CEP, Solar Hawk, and other assessments as required. Work with STRATCOM J6, STRATCOM components, Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies to refine NC3 reporting requirements for scheduled and unscheduled NC3 system outages, emphasizing properly capturing operational/mission impact. Review and update the Operational Priority List for NC3 Systems.
This position may require travel, including travel on military transportation into non-hostile areas.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI and other special accesses
10 years demonstrated relevant experience with: Nuclear Command and Control communication principles, doctrine, processes, and related communications and computer systems specified below
Military Strategic Tactical and Relay ( MILSTAR) Strategic Automated Command and Control System (SACCS) Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) Global Broadcast System (GBS) Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) Airborne Command Post (ABNCP) Mobile Consolidated Command Center (MCCC)
Demonstrated relevant experience with OPLAN and NC3 data analysis; and
The demonstrated capability of performing NC2 operations and analytical support as part of a crisis action team or battle staff.
Demonstrated relevant experience with Agile methodologies and implementation.
