We are currently seeking a Release Manager to join our team. The IT Release Manager will have broad responsibilities which encompass managing all Release activities from IT and business functions. An ideal candidate must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are translated into specific solutions
In your role, you will ... Measure and monitor progress to ensure monthly releases are delivered on time and that they meet defined expectations Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists Manage and assess the impact of each release and ensure key stakeholders are made aware of the impact Develop, implement, and communicate release plans Work with business leaders, product owners, IT project teams, and operations staff to ensure every release contains the correct features Be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves the stages such as plan the release of project deliverables, scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of release as per schedule/ budget Communicate the vision of continuous process improvement (CPI) across the IT organization, Define and create reports on CSI, critical success factors (CSFs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs Gather feedback from end users to understand how to improve efficiencies when it comes to change management Provide relevant coaching, training, and support to champion Release management culture
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate, You have a University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degrees You have 3-5 years of experience as an IT Release Manager You have ITIL Foundation Certification You have 3-5 years of working experience of ITSM processes and ServiceNow, specially ServiceNow Change and Release Management module.
