In your role, you will: Act as a cabin design integrator on the Global 5500, 6500 and 7500 business jets. Execute assignments requiring familiarity with several fields of engineering. Provide status for projects of variable complexity and highlight risks. Estimate scope level of effort of projects. Work with partners and suppliers on design projects and problem solving related to mechanical installation of cabinets and various interior systems. Participate in design reviews, ensure proper requirements integration and compliance to certification regulations. Integrate change requests of various kinds: Coordinate technical meetings, analyze and define proposals, assess levels of effort and ensure the on-time implementation. Collaborate in the planning and development of solutions with several departments. Be responsible for the on-time delivery of the technical documentation as per Bombardier's standards. The position is based in Dorval/Montreal. Telework in progress, but presence on site will be required.
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate, You have a collegial or university degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience. You have good communication skills, both writing and speaking, in French and English. You have a relevant technical experience in business aircraft interiors. Knowledge of the Global Aircrafts, Infrastructures and Installations Integration is an asset. You have a solid experience working with Enovia/VPM Nav and Catia (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.). You understand product structure and aircraft certification. You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving. You are well organized and are project oriented. You are a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision. You demonstrate an excellent track record of meeting your commitments with success.
