Leadership Development Manager

The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) is an exciting model to work in. Four world class organisations have come together as one team, with Sellafield Ltd, to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.

PPP is set to revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield and create a lasting legacy, through long-term partnerships.

The Sellafield nuclear site is home to one of the most complex portfolios of construction and infrastructure projects in the world, stretching over many decades.

The new approach will support the transformation from nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation.

The partnership is made up of four lots and Sellafield Ltd, as 5th Partner, to help deliver the site's decommissioning programme:Kellogg Brown and Root Ltd (KBR) - integration partner
Jacobs - design and engineering partner
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure - civils construction management partner
Doosan Babcock Ltd - process construction management partner
Sellafield Ltd will work collaboratively with the four lot partners, to deliver major projects in support of the site's 100-year decommissioning programme.

The new approach is set up to support faster, more effective project delivery, stability in design and construction supply chains, greater workforce flexibility, and local economic benefit.

PPP Leadership Development Manager

The role

Supporting the Head of Training Manager of Operations to shape, manage, design and deliver a range of engaging training and development initiatives, to support management and leadership across the Programme

Responsibilities

To include (but not limited to): Designing and delivering a blend of face-to-face and virtual training initiatives targeted principally at those in management and leadership roles Planning and delivering programmes to develop and retain high-potential employees, including; 360 review personality profiling, assessment centres and specific training initiatives (a combination of internal and external provision), mentoring, secondments, projects and other stretch assignments Assisting in the ongoing design and delivery of the company Graduate Programme, including; the selection process, programme logistics, induction, mentor/mentee arrangements and training, project identification and management, career planning, and group training sessions with all scheme participants Supporting the Talent Managers with succession planning processes facilitating meetings, collating and analysing outcomes, summarising outputs and developing a range of L&D interventions in response to these Evaluating the impact of Leadership and Management training and development through a range of both qualitative and quantitative measures Working with Head of TMO on learning and development measures which support the delivery of the company's diversity and inclusion strategy Supporting the Lot Partner HR functions through the provision of relevant training initiatives, for example on appraisal, on-boarding, objective-setting etc. Supporting the PPP Culture and Behavioural Lead as required to o rganise and/or undertake team development initiatives QualificationsClear and demonstrable background of success within L&D leading the delivery of management and leadership development initiatives preferably within a Programme/Project environmentExperience successfully delivering business wide learning initiativesStrong collaborator with excellent communication skills and experience managing senior stakeholders. Must be able to build and form relationships and influence at all levels, with previous experience of supporting businesses on talent and succession planning Strong results orientated focus and commercial outlook; data driven approach Proven expertise in coaching and mentoring Senior Stakeholders Qualified in the use of psychometrics
