LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Ammunition Handler
Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of military ASP operations (U. S. Army preferred)
• Must meet the certification requirements of FORSCOM Reg. 350-10
• Should be qualified prior to starting work, who meet or exceed the technical qualification required for a U.S. Army Ammunition Specialist , 89 CMF or civilian equivalent to perform receiving, storing and issuing conventional ammunitions, guided missiles, large rockets, explosives, and other ammunition and explosive related items IAW all pertinent reference material, AR 190-11, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-2, AR 385-10, DA PAM 710-2-1, FORSCOM Regulation 700-4, DoD 4145.26-M, AR 385-64, DA PAM 385-64, DA PAM 385-10, MIL SSTD 129-1 and other applicable regulations. TASP personnel involved in the handling of A&E should meet the training and qualifications requirements. Be subject to an initial certification by the NTC TASP Certification Board, and each person's certification may be reviewed by the Certification Board at any time for cause.
• Responsible for handling A&E are physically able to perform TASP workload requirements, including being capable of lifting at least seventy-two (72) pounds unassisted, stooping, bending, climbing, and having normal color vision. Comply with DA PAM 611-21 Physical qualification requirements.
• Three (3) or more years' experience in military ammunition supply and/or other related installation or equivalent level ASP support service operations.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred :
- AMMO 45 and 68 course completion and certification for HAZDEC shipping
- Prior service as an MOS 89B (Ammunition Specialist) or similar military specialty code.
- Prior military and/or contingency operations experience.
Must have or be able to obtain Secret clearance
