VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Logistics Analyst with US Navy Surface Mine Countermeasures experience.
Job Requirements:
Analyze and implement logistics plans that may affect the lifecycle management of surface mine countermeasures systems. Assist with the analysis of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies that support lifecycle management of surface mine countermeasures products. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of surface mine countermeasures systems. Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments under general supervision. Job Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with direct logistics support in a US Navy environment Experience in working with logistics programs, performing logistics elements, and supporting US Navy projects Ability to provide analysis, preparation, and presentation of data to leadership Experience with U.S. Navy shipboard surface mine countermeasures systems a must Secret clearance HS Diploma or GED Additional Experience
Experience with DoD acquisition programs and policies Experience with maintaining a tracker for production and depot-type programs via Microsoft products Experience in collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure product lifecycle management plans are adequately reviewed from a total logistics support perspective and approved. Experience in working with US Navy ILS requirements and implementing logistics support plans to meet requirements Experience with gathering technical information, calculating and analyzing data, and presenting logistics metrics Experience with assessing and presenting products issues and challenges and identifying and recommending solutions to leadership Experience with evaluating ILS impacts in configuration management documentation and engineering change proposals Ability to comprehend and apply reliability, maintainability, and logistics requirements as documented in USC Title 10, DoDI 5000.02, DoDD 5000.01, and NAVINST 5000.2 Bachelor's degree preferred Logistics or Program Management Certification preferred
