Who We Are:
Our team is responsible for office-moves, relocating furniture, disposing of old furniture, and helping the teams at SwRI move to other locations. We also help with placing necessary items in storage and assisting our clients if they need items moved. We also pick-up and drop off equipment if needed. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes)!
Objectives of this Role:
Assist SwRI staff whenever possible to move office belongings.Removing and replacing office furniture and filing cabinets.Respond to requests for set-up for meetings and events.Monitor requests and help-desk tickets.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Various deliveries per request of SwRI Staff.Work with management on responding to various labor related requests.Moving boxes, helping remove furniture and place furniture, moving offices; chairs and desk and computers monitors.Moving large equipment such as fridges and dropping these items off for repairs.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalentShift work required1 year: Experience with carrying, relocating, communicating with others on proper moving and liftingWorking in a team for a moving company or related experienceHelping others move office furnitureA valid/clear driver's license is required
