Jour our team of experts in facility maintenance. Our skill set has an emphasis on problems that arise within the carpentry trade of a 1500 acre campus. By joining our team, you will received an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes)!
Objectives of this Role:
With guidance from Senior level technicians and carpenters, assist the divisions on project work that requires carpentry skills.Learn from more senior staff and apply your carpentry skills to maintain buildings and facilities on campus.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Tackle challenges and issues that arise within the carpentry trade on our 1500 acre campus.Occasional crate and pallet building with possible cabinet construction depending on experience.Be a team player and meet the needs of requestors for various tasks.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent3 years experience in facilities maintenance or carpentry trade.Shift work requiredKnowledge of power and hand tools used in the fieldKnowledge of stationary tools to include table saws, miter saws, band saw. Familiar with VCT, cove base, ceiling tile, and door problemsMust be able to take the initiative to solve carpentry challenges and engage senior staff when needing assistance and collaborationAbility to solve various problems as the need arises; some knowledge of laminates requiredA valid/clear driver's license is required
