Who We Are:

Jour our team of experts in facility maintenance. Our skill set has an emphasis on problems that arise within the carpentry trade of a 1500 acre campus. By joining our team, you will received an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes)!

Objectives of this Role:

Help the SwRI Technical Divisions on project work that requires carpentry skills.Apply your carpentry talent and expertise to maintain buildings and facilities on campus.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Solve challenges and problems that arise within the carpentry trade for the organization.Occasional crate and pallet building.Possible cabinet construction depending on experience.Always be a collaborative and eager team player in order to meet the needs of the organziation for a various diverse tasks.

Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalentMust have experience in facilities maintenance or carpentry tradeShift work required7 years: Knowledge of power and hand tools used in the fieldKnowledge of stationary tools to include table saws, miter saws, band saw. Familiar with VCT, cove base, ceiling tile, and door problemsAbility to solve various problems as the need arisesSome knowledge of laminates requiredA valid/clear driver's license is required
