Who We Are:
The Quality Assurance Inspection Team conducts inspections of mechanical and electronic assemblies. Additionally, we provide training for soldering and application of polymers/epoxies per nationally recognized standards for high reliability applications.
Objectives of this Role:
Provide support to quality inspectors in receiving inspection data reviews.Support verification that parts/materials documentation packages are complete prior to technical evaluation by an inspector to identify gaps are found early & to reduce time required to perform inspection.Greet visitors and clients.Assist in general clerical duties (i.e. filing documentation, maintain group calendar).Answer telephones, route calls, and take messages.Maintain office/lab in a clean orderly fashion.Assist staff with travel arrangements and expense accounts.Assist direct supervisor with work status reporting and communication with project staff.Maintain and organize files and databases.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Review parts travelers and drawing packages to ensure completeness and accuracy.Assist with data entry in support of receiving inspection and in-process inspections.Review, maintain and update training records.Maintain training calendar for QA team.Maintain office/lab in a clean orderly fashion.Operate office machinery, such as copier, scanner, and fax.All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent2 -6 years: Related experience such as process project travelers to ensure completeness and maintaining log of items in and out of QA officeMust be able to review project procedures and format processesA valid/clear driver's license is required
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
