Who We Are:
The Mechanical Fabrication Center consists of two distinct areas of craft technicians. The Machine Shop creates precision machined components utilizing the equipment available. The Fabrication Shop is an accredited ASME Pressure Vessel production operations that engages structural and piping efforts. By joining our team, you will received an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes)!
Objectives of this Role:
Produced precision machined parts from engineering data.Be proficient with all aspects of the Machining craft and equipment and tooling required to accomplish complex machining tasks.Work with very little or no technical oversight.Provide guidance to lesser tenured staff to enhance their skill base and career development.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Produce parts with a very low scrap rate and maintain a record of very low non-conforming items.Take the initiative to engage with clients and establish a reputation of being the subject matter expert as it relates to the Precision Machining Craft.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent10-15 years: Precision machining activities and related experience and producing precision machined parts from engineering dataA valid/clear driver's license is required
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
