Yorktel is currently seeking a Digital Signage Technician who will be a client advocate and technical resource for multiple digital signage projects. The DST will work closely with clients to assess requirements to create solutions, based on the current technology deployed, Industry Weapon, that meet their needs. The DST will manage, monitor and troubleshoot the digital signage solution.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Digital Signage Technician will be responsible for the following;

Manage the current installed digital signage solution based on Industry Weapon
Monitor the health of the solution, including connectivity
Address any issues found through monitoring or reported by the client
Manage the environment and plan for growth
Work with Project Managers on the deployment of new digital signage locations
Manage updates and upgrades to the environment
Work with network provider(s) as part of troubleshooting
Own any issues with the Digital Signage service through resolution
Meet with clients, gather requirements and work to create solutions around the current deployed environment to support those requirements
Produce usage reports as required
Manage licenses and renewal of licenses
Configure digital signage players for later deployment
Skills and Abilities

5+ years’ experience with LAN and WAN technologies
VLAN and subnet knowledge, especially in a global corporate environment is necessary
3+ years’ experience working with Digital Signage solutions and players
Experience with the Industry Weapon (Spectrio) digital signage solution preferred
Strong computer skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple projects at same time
Experience in incident management systems, ServiceNow preferred
Ability to manage schedule based on a global business
Ability to troubleshoot and work with remote staff
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and meet deadlines
Problem solving and troubleshooting of network issues
High level of Customer First mentality
Education and Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
InfoComm CTS certification desirable, CTS-I and CTS-D certification highly desirable
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Frequent sitting and standing
Current and active driver’s license
Travel within the NJ area 20% time
Domestic travel (outside of NJ) 5%
