As a mid-level position, this offers tremendous scope to make your mark offering a high degree of autonomy while being fully supported by your peers in the wider marketing team. The position reports to the Head of Marketing LexisNexis South Africa.
TasksandResponsibilities:
•Develop fully digital marketing plans with objectives around awareness, demand generation, new sales, cross-sell, increased usage and retention.
•Execute marketing deliverables and tactics such as digital advertising, search, email campaigns, events, social, webinars, etc.
•Create high impact localised messaging and thought leadership content in collaboration with our partners to deliver infographics, whitepapers and more, for web, social, blogs, video, print, etc based on market segment trends and needs.
•Coordinate and implement events (customer events, webinars, conference presence etc) logistics, negotiations, activations and communications.
•Oversee creative development of marketing materials and coordinate promotion activities through internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors.
•Build persona specific content by understanding of clients' need by persona. Produce effective, innovative and influential marketing content to support business objectives.
•Work with content teams to unpack and promote the story of our product both internally and external.
•Actively drive lead generation (MQL and SQL) for the LexisNexis stable of products.
•Ensuring ongoing cadence and nurturing of leads along the marketing funnel and driving the conversion of contacts to qualified leads for sales through targeted product campaign automations.
•Work closely with the sales teams to provide campaign support, product insight sales qualified leads, win conversion support and campaign metrics (ie Monitor, track and report on all product and segment sales and/or leads).
•Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of all product marketing activities, including ROI, commentary and recommendations.

Experience and Qualifications:
•Degree-level education or equivalent experience, preferably in a Marketing or Communications.
•Experience in B2B Marketing in Africa and South Africa
•At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within B2B professional services or technology.
•Previous experience in digital marketing, product marketing essential
•Strong competence in project management and organization with ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines
•Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and key partners
•Ability to travel as necessary
•Analytical with a keen eye for detail
•Budgeting responsibility
•Technically proficient with the ability to learn new systems quickly in order to manage technical aspects of key product marketing and business systems.
