Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking Financial Analysts to support our customer in Newport, Rhode Island. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Financial Analyst will:Provide financial management support services to NUWC Newport Code 34Use Navy - Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system to generate and maintain Project StructuresTrack expenditures charged to projects and generate reportsCollect project financial data by running various reports in N-ERPCompile and summarize project cost data for direct labor and non-labor costPrepare funding document acceptance documentation in Automated Funding Document Acceptance (AFDA)Prepare analyses of the Program's Reimbursable Authority and Carryover projections, versus fiscal year targets assigned by department management. Analyses shall compare expected reimbursable funding against reimbursable authority and identify shortfalls or surpluses in terms of carryover levels against the target.Research and identify root cause and corrective actions associated with rejected or suspense financial transaction records such as undistributed labor, unapplied overhead, and erroneous labor or non-labor postingsPrepare various financial reports and funding projections as requiredRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree or 4 years relevant experienceAccuracy and strong attention to detail; effective at organizing, prioritizing and multi-taskingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent written skillsExtensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook)Desired Experience:Accounting System Interfaces (ASI)Advanced Interactive Management Technology Center (AIMTC)Automated Funding Document Acceptance (AFDA)Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)Workload Acceptance and Assignment Process (WAAP)Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
