Job Title: Engineering Technician (30086)

We are currently seeking a Technician VI (30086) to support our NSWC PHD WSI/FI customer. This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination. As such Under the SCLS selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit that equals $4.13 an hour up to 40 hours per week. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a bona fide plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

The Engineer Technician VI will:Update and maintain technical documentation in support of Vertical Launching System (VLS), Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) and Standard Missile (SM).Update missile and canister SMPDs, canister maintenance documents, launcher equipment maintenance documents.Update multiple versions of VLS Dockside Loading Document along with corresponding training curriculum and media for domestic, consortium and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).Position requires specialized knowledge in VLS Canisters, Missile Encan/Decan, Missile Processing, Canister mechanical interfaces and electrical testing.Education and Experience

Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional 8 years of experience.

15+ years of relevant experience

US Navy Standard Missile Technician, Standard Missile Assy/Dis-assy, Encan/decan ILM course

US Navy Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile Technician, Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile Assy/Dis-assy, Encan/decan ILM course

US Navy Tomahawk Supervisors and managers course

Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
