We are currently seeking a RF Electronic Technician IV, Senior (30086) to support NSWC Crane WXQ Threat Device Support Group branch.

This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination. As such Under the SCA selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit that equals $4.27 an hour up to 40 hours per week. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a bona fide plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

The tasks this role performs are very hands-on that require experience in RF hardware and test measurement with knowledge in RF circuitries and schematic. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, possess the following skills and experience:Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of RF systemsProviding technical support during test eventsDiagnose and troubleshoot problems that are associated with the systems and work with Engineers to resolve all issuesRepair and install various types of cables, modules and assemblies required for testingTypically a minimum of 5 years as an engineering technician with background in electrical design support and troubleshooting of systems and board level designsExperience with RF test equipment such as signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and other general use test equipmentTesting and troubleshooting hardware issues to determine corrective actions at the system level, down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and component levels including analog, digital, radio frequency (RF), power circuitry and interfacesAbility to work from schematics, CCA layout, and understand test requirements including written and oral instructionsIPC Solder certificationProven certified soldering techniques to rework surface mount components at the board levelAbility to work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)Required Education: Highschool/Vocational Degree or GED Certificate Required Experience: Ten (10) years of related professional experience in electronics technology test and measurement of Electronic Countermeasure SystemsExperience in one of the Military specialties associated with Electronic Countermeasures, RF, and Microwave technical schools Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
