Job Description:

JRC is currently seeking an OPSEC Analyst to work in Washington DC and telework. This position will have primary responsibility of supporting Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). This position will work closely with SSP OPSEC Manager. This position reports to Maritime & Security Division of JRC Integrated Systems and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Description:

Supports the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) OPSEC Manager with the review and implementation of the OPSEC program for SSP command and field activities. Familiarity with standing up an OPSEC program and implementation across a DoN command. Provides support to the customer by reviewing and developing command specific OPSEC material. Supports all projects and initiatives and responds to requests for information, compiles comments, tracks action items, and archives project communications.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

· A security background with a focus in OPSEC

· Experience with DoD and DoN OPSEC policy and procedure

· Experience with customer service

· High-level communication & presentation skills (Microsoft Office)

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (four years in a professional office environment using some or all of the skill-sets required in this description)

Key Duties:

· Review and assess OPSEC program planning, processes, instructions

· Coordinate and assist the command and field activities in the development and implementation of the OPSEC programs to include: OPSEC instructions, briefings, presentations and training manuals

· Provide support a for OPSEC planning, education, training and awareness

· Support the analytical, operational, advisory and evaluative duties regarding OPSEC

· Meet required deliverable milestones and assess schedule impacts for projects

· Draft reports, executive summaries, presentations, and correspondence as directed

· Maintain program infrastructure and support new DON directives and command initiatives

General Skills/Attributes:

· Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office suite of tools

· Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment with little direction, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks

· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

Specific Skills/Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience

· 3 Years of OPSEC experience

· Experience working with DoD and DoN commands

· Knowledge of applicable DoD and DoN OPSEC security instructions and manuals

· Experience liaising between multiple DoD Programs and external entities

· Keen analytical skills

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET government security clearance
