Job Description:

Nuclear Communications Expert

Location: Omaha, NE and Colorado Springs, CO

At least 8 years of experience in the following:
NC2/NC3 operation capabilities and procedures, and experience in the operations platforms, communications, and modes of operations, to include current efforts in developing survivable and endurable NC2/NC3 capabilities.
At least 5 years demonstrated experience
Working with key stakeholders (requirements, financial, test and evaluation, and operations) utilizing rapid, iterative processes to apply scientific and technical expertise to analyze products to support translating NC3 communication capabilities. Fully understand critical command and control requirements and operational concepts and highly competent at articulating interoperable capabilities into NC2 and NC3 operational requirements utilizing national, DOD, and CJCS guidance. Ability to clearly communicate findings via a broad range of written and verbal presentations. Ability to use technical expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to solve complex problems
At least 5 years of experience in the following:
Background and training in one or more of USSTRATCOM assigned UCP missions, assignment at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Service, or MAJCOM level. Working with US Government Interagency functions and processes; OR, at least 2 years of experience analyzing and synthesizing multiple interagency products such as reports, meeting minutes, and speech transcripts in order to create requirements to support the mission.
At least 3 years of experience
Staffing complex packages and adjudicating content.
At least 2 years of experience in the following:
Developing Command responses for Senior-level decision documentation (similar to CONOPS, Integrated Priority List, Analysis of Alternatives) at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or DoD OSD levels; and staffing complex packages and adjudicating content.

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization is desired

US Citizen with TS and SCI eligible
