Position Summary
FedData Technology Solutions, LLC (FDTS) is seeking an Account Manager in the Pacific Rim (PACRIM) region.
The PACRIM Account Manager will manage and drive sales with the DoD in the PACRIM Region, namely California, Hawaii, Guam, and other regional customer locations.
Essential Job Functions Drive Customer engagements/meetings for FDTS and our OEM Partners Participate in weekly sales meetings Manage and meet sales targets/goals as established by FDTS management. Manage relationships with existing customers and OEMs and identify opportunities to expand to new Customers and Partners. Provide updates to sales efforts as requested. Participate in strategy reviews to aid in FedData's expansion. Enter and track opportunities in Sales Force Minimum Required Qualifications Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required. 10 Years DoD /Federal Engineering and/or Sales Experience. 10 years experience developing IT Solutions for DoD/Federal Environments. Bachelor's Degree. Solid understanding of IT Virtualization, Cloud, Compute, Networking, and Security Solutions. 5+ years' experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage the sales process and forecast sales. Proven success in penetrating new markets and developing new business. Ability to frequently travel both CONUS and OCONUS. 50 Percent Travel Expected. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns. Planning, organization and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
