Responsibilities

The telecommunications technicians are responsible for repairing, installing, modifying, and upgrading telecommunications systems and related equipment. The successful candidate will identify technical faults through diagnostic testing, ensure that there are no exposed cables, and order replacement components as needed.

1 position available in Al Udeid, Qatar; 1 position in Al Dharfra, UAE (60 hours per week)

Required Qualifications Must have a minimum of three years of experience of inside plant operation and maintenance experience, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems within the last 10 years Must have a minimum of three years of experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of multiple conductors, aerial, underground, and buried multi-purpose communications cable to include coaxial and fiber optic cable Must have a minimum of three years of experience working with the following: Installation of ducts and conduits, pulling cables, and terminating, testing, splicing, and repairing copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling Installation of outside and interior copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog, and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames, lightning protection, and supporting ground and power connections. Installation of cabinets, cable ladder, rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinets Operating trenching, cable reel trucks, and excavating equipment Four years of practical experience in the maintenance of telephony systems/equipment including electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout. One year of practical experience in electronics installation Secret Security Clearance Valid Drivers License Passport Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English Desired Qualifications Experience working in an OCONUS environment COVID Policy: New employees will be required to adhere to the Company's and its clients' COVID-19 safety procedures. In the event that the COVID-19 vaccination mandate for Federal Contractors is enforced, you must become fully vaccinated or request and be approved for an exemption. Employees working onsite at a client location must comply with our client's COVID-19 requirements.
