Then you might be ready to begin your professional career as a Systems Engineer within Whole Life Engineering, (WLE).

U.S Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.  These positions are 2022/2023 starts!

Job Summary:

Whole Life Engineering seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer based out of Woburn, MA.  In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of system sustainment.  You will also be responsible executing tasks in the areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Sustainment Analysis, and Sustainment Planning.  This will include tasks such technical documentation, spares analysis, provisioning support, training, reliability analysis, and system safety.

Do you have this Basic Qualification? 

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Computer or Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related STEM curriculumThe ability to obtain a US DoD Security ClearanceU.S Citizenship is required.

Do you have any of the following Desired Qualifications? 

Strong analytical skillsGPA of 3.0 or higherCustomer focus and collaboration skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office or other presentation toolsExperience in the preparation and presentation of briefing materialInternship or co-op experience with a defense contractor and/or government agencyAbility to influence product design to optimize product supportabilityFamiliarity with associated Military and Commercial supportability Standards and PracticesAbility to review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standardsAbility to identify concerns, suggest solutions, and follow through to closureExperience with database applicationsPrior military service operating and/or maintaining various defense systemsBe a key contributor to our Whole Life Engineering team

The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user.
