RMD has an opening for a Manager, Contracts within RMD's Advanced Technology organization, which focuses on key pursuits as well as development efforts that serve as the growth engine and front of the business, critical to the future growth of RMD. The individual in this role will be part of a very collaborative Contracts team supporting captures and development programs within the Hypersonics Effectors portfolio.
Please note that this role is designated as hybrid and is located in Tucson, Arizona. There is flexibility for telecommuting initially, but please note that relocation to Tucson is expected within 3 months of acceptance.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP)Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responsesNegotiate contractsReview Estimates at Completion (EAC)Support program management and execution reviewsDevelop Intellectual Property and investment strategyProvide general contract administrationWork closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to construct, submit and negotiate pricing proposalsProvide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issuesEnsure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policiesAdvise management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience OR in absence of a degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience is required.Prior experience with US Government contractsActive and in-scope Secret US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
