Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Subcontract Manager who will telecommute/work remotely and report to a DAS Sr. Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for the overall subcontract management activities associated with suppliers in support of the Energetics Department. In this role, you will be dedicated to supporting Coyote and Rapid Development Programs (CRDP) within their embedded procurement cell.  Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and PerformanceDrive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirementsDrive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projectsPerform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed:Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQAnalyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniquesDevelop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexityPerform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problemsTravel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business - Typical travel may be monthly or quarterly

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotiveExperience in placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexityThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
