Job Description:

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking a PCB Lead Engineer and a EE Control Electronic Support Engineer to support a contract at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). The ideal candidate will be an EE Analog Designer with Power System experience and/or Mechanism and Mechanism Electronics controls background.

Duties Include but are not limited to:Support board, box, and system testing:Understand and execute existing designs, analyses, and proceduresExpand and develop existing designs and proceduresCircuit anomaly resolution/troubleshootingReview/generate worst-case analysisTools used:

Spice/P Spice/ T Spice, etc.. circuit modeler, Altium, OrCad schematic capture, MS Office

Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree with 5-7 years of flight mechanism electronics experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiarity with Electrical testing in a flight lab environment, Experience with Altium and/or OrCadAnalog circuit design, modeling, simulation, analysis.Brushless DC motor drive, sensors, Worst-case Analysis, EEE Part stress analysis, Motor Control system and electronics background familiarity with electronics test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, metersUS Citizenship Required.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of GSFC processes, design rules, configuration management, WOAs, ASIST ground system, etcKnowledge and training with regard to ESD prevention and protocols.
