Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) is seeking Integration and Test (I&T) Manager to support a high profile NASA project.Responsible for I&T leadership, planning, and implementation for the aerospace instrument. This includes development/maintenance of the I&T activity flow and activity schedules, securing adequate facilities for the I&T effort Coordinate with and advise subsystem personnel prior to delivery of subsystems and components to system level I&T. Activities include coordinating delivery of associated equipment and GSE, reviewing subsystem plans and procedures, and schedule coordination. Prepare for I&T operations and workmanship standards throughout the project lifecycle.Develop test plans and procedures.Understand, generate, and assist with spaceflight configurations from low level design to highly complex systems in an I&T environment.Arrange scheduling and tracking of activities of I&T related activities and coordinate the personnel that are required for task.Ensure all IT security measures are met based on the project ground system.Provide I&T systems and systems engineering expertise to the project. Ensures the availability during integration of required support equipment, including tools, test equipment, etc.Support I&T and environmental testing shifts which requires schedule flexibility (nights and weekends) and support of some 24x7 testing.Provide leadership to I&T Personnel, including but not limited to scheduling, staffing needs, oversight and project requirements.The candidate must be able to work well with others in a team environment. The candidate must have good communications skills and keep the customer and instrument management team informed on project status.The candidate will be required to follow all applicable GSFC documents for compliance with quality and safety directives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent education and 10 years or greater of relevant work experience in electrical test and integration of aerospace flight hardware or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience managing a team; either directly or indirectly required.Must have experience with integration and test (I&T) of space flight systems, database use in I&T ground systems, and test scripting.Clean room familiarity and trainingExcellent organizational, leadership, and verbal and written communication skills.Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation.Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with NASA GSFC I&T work flows and experience with Work Order Authorization (WOAs) Experience working on NASA GSFC in-house spacecraft or in-house payload/instrument assembly, integration and test programs Experience with ITOSExperience with cryogenic instrumentsExperience as a product development lead (PDL) or systems engineer on instruments, carrier systems, or spaceflight systems EOE, including disability/vets
