JOB SUMMARY: The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for processing and adjudicating claims and providing warranty support to our authorized dealer network via phone or e-mail. Developing recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to senior management. Act as central point of contact with the U.S. and Canada Dealership network, handling warranty claim processing questions while educating both internal & external partners on Service Policy and Requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Analysis of warranty information and processing warranty claims per warranty guidelines Assist dealers in all aspects of warranty service, whether claims or registrations through the phone center or email Conduct warranty claim reviews and audits including review & analysis of technical content and adherence to policies and procedures. Review warranty claim data and develop specific audit criteria based upon analysis Input service notifications and maintain database integrity Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and compliance to all warranty specifications Monitor defective products and recall specific batch of products if required Facilitate warranty recovery for both dealer and vendor network MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma 2 years in a customer service or administrative role in automotive, powersports, or outdoor power equipment dealership operations, or relevant experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 or 4 year Technical Degree Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills Excellent phone and customer service skills along with sound reasoning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to relate to individuals both inside and outside the organization and stay calm in pressure situations Ability to adjust content and messages, both written and verbal, to address target audience appropriately Strong understanding of basic mechanical and electrical fundamentals Solid knowledge of Engine maintenance and troubleshooting to include: air cooled and liquid cooled units, gas, diesel, LP and natural gas fuel systems, would be a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or control s. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
