Job Description:

Seeking applicant for Program Analyst with Acquisitions experience to provide support Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems, for Team Submarine, Naval Sea Systems Command. You will provide direct support to PMS415 Program Office in the areas of Acquisition Management, Analysis, Sustainment, and Support.

Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School DiplomaBachelor's level degree or equivalent experience in a business, finance, engineering or technical field.Knowledge of defense acquisition principles and practices.Minimum 3 years experience supporting a program or project team responsible for projects in various stages of Acquisition.Desired - three or more of the below:Experience/knowledge with Navy Submarine ProgramsExperience working within Naval Sea Systems CommandActive Duty enlisted or junior officerDepartment of Navy/NAVSEA experience a significant plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support government managers in various acquisition activities related to design, product development, test, production, or support. Assist the program office by tracking progress against schedules, recording and coordinating accomplishment of actions, coordinating the development/reporting of proposed solutions to issues and supporting meetings.Works independently, receiving a minimum of detailed guidance. Knowledge of acquisitions program management principles, techniques, requirements, methods and practices to carry out tasks to support planning, organizing and managing weapon systems acquisition.Perform a variety of specific tasks to develop knowledge and skill in applying Acquisition Logistics principles, methods and techniques.Analytical and evaluation skills to assess capability in meeting customer or project requirement.Oral and written communication skills for effective working relationships, interactions with customers, and exchange of information.Knowledge to perform tasks to assist in the development of acquisition logistics that support the operation, maintenance, and support of the system.Provide guidance to less experienced team members and work as a team to most-effectively accomplishing program office tasking.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
