Job Title: Cost Engineering

Patrona Corporation is a DoD federal contractor providing program management, engineering, strategic and operational planning, quality assurance, financial management, and administrative support services. This position supports our customer, Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP)

Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate 5 Years of professional of experience with cost analysis and public shipyard business processesExperience with project management for submarine availabilitiesExperience with Availability Work PackagesExperience with AIM and PMCExperience with COST programFamiliar with shipyard business office reports such as the Final Review Estimate, Completion Message, & Hotwash Any other experience requirements should be listed here
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review end of depot availability work package Ships Work List Item Numbers (SWLINs) to identify work performed and work deferredReview shipyard provided Task Group Instructions (TGIs) as needed to identify specifics of work performed and work deferredMaintain program databases including archiving of data packagesPerform availability cost comparisons / special studies between executed availabilitiesPerform technical reviews of planned and unplanned workTrend unplanned work to identify potential baseline availability work package changesPrepare program briefs and technical analysis reports as requested
Skills and Abilities
Skilled in developing and delivering technical reports, briefs, and technical analysisFamiliarity with shipyard business office reportsUnderstand project milestone deliverablesBe skilled in AIM and PMCGood working knowledge of the COST programHighly skilled in Microsoft Excel
