Patrona Corporation is looking for motivated individuals ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment and want to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Dover, NH as a Mechanical Engineer 3. Patrona Corporation is a DoD federal contractor providing program management, engineering, strategic and operational planning, quality assurance, financial management, and administrative support services.
Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering At least 5 years of experience with shipyard submarine maintenance availabilities Experience and familiarity with submarine Maintenance Standards (MSs) and Test Procedures (TPs)Experience and familiarity with Navy maintenance applications and databases such as M&SWP and ATIS; knowledge of the Lifecycle Management software Windchill is a plusExperience with submarine Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review Engineering and technical documentation to determine compliance with engineering standards, technical accuracy and adequacy in relation to functional, operational, and technical requirementsWork within Windchill to prepare and manage updates for MSs and TPsPerform engineering analysis, reviews, studies and provide recommendations related to the development, interoperability, integration, operations and use of MSs during submarine system, subsystem, equipment maintenanceReview, analyze, maintain, draft, validate changes to technical submarine MS and TP documentation Provide administrative functions for program efforts in special situations including, but not limited to meetings, and preparing/maintaining history files
Skills and Abilities
Be proficient with Microsoft Suite programs to include Excel and WordBe proficient within Maintenance and Ship work Planning (M&SWP) applicationBe familiar with AutoCAD and how to use the application for work within drawings and diagrams An Equal Opportunity Employer.
