LCV EUCOM A/DACG: Supervisor, Logistics Support - MCT Air Ops

Plans, organizes, and leads day to day activities of one or more departmental or functional activities. Responsible for implementing training requirements and monitoring employee performance. Establishes production standards, monitors compliance, and recommends operational improvements. Assist the manager in accomplishing the short- and long-term goals for the department/function. Maintains employee compliance with safety policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 5-7 years of experience. Logistics or related field desirable. Extensive military training in logistics plans and or operations or equivalent civilian course work required. Must have a thorough military or industrial logistics and or operations training and experience and have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of the theory, principles and methods required to plan, track, and execute a Logistical Support Operation. Provide movement control support for the surface & Air movement of cargo and personnel through the U.S. Military Transportation System. Candidate must possess working knowledge of Movement Automation Query Systems such as GTN, GDSS, GATES, ITV, etc. Able to communicate effectively with military personnel, understand military flight information and local policies. Must understand DOD movements terminology and be able to troubleshoot problems. Position responsibilities also encompass administrative duties in support of the entire Airfield Terminal Operations. Ability to read and understand Air Load Plans. Able to work in a high stress atmosphere and make passenger related decisions. Able to make decision on priority list based on outlined instructions. Must perform other job-related tasks as duties and mission dictates. Familiarization and certification in the Joint Inspection process is a plus.Must hold or be able to obtain a security clearance.Prefer 88N or previous MCT experienceMust have strong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point2T2 (AF AFSC) or 88N (Army MOS) plus and HAZ cargo cert a plusMust have or be able to obtain a Secret ClearanceIn compliance with the U.S. federal government's vaccine mandate, only candidates who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a reasonable accommodation or approved medical exception will be considered for this position.
