HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking for a Project Manager to leadingteam developinga updated an Human Machine Interface to monitor ship board propulsion systems.inAnnapolis Junction, MD.
Huntington Ingalls Industries is the nation's largest Shipbuilding for the US Navy. The project is responsible for developing a monitoringsystemthat integrates Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) SW supporting Program Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Health & Monitoring (HMS) capabilities for shipboard propulsion systems.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Leads a small team of SW developers and testers. Coordinates with customer representatives to confirm requirements and priorities. Provides senior managementupdates on schedule and financial status.
4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8years relevant progressive experience. Experience leading small development teams Knowledge of agile development Methodology US Citizen is required No REMOTE option
Experiencewith Programmable Logic Controllers Experiencewith GITLab/JIRA Certified SCRUM Master Experience with budgetingand financialtracking of Tasks Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
