Who We Are
Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is currently seeking a Logistic Support Candidate to join the team at the NNS Warehouse 91 in Hampton, VA. In this role,the selected candidate will be responsible for providing support to the logistics outfitting for new construction submarines and warehouse management. The candidate will maintain the arrangement of replicas of submarine lockers and assist with Pre-Bin of material in replicas. The candidate will resolve items without stowage locations and provide support in the Identification of items requiring resolution by the Design Yard. The candidate will assist with the assignment of items to locations based on Engineering Reports (ER`s) and assist with shipboard loadout and resolve problems during shipboard loadout. The candidate will assist with the maintenance of data in the Master Stowage System in support of Virginia Class submarines. This role is critical in the organization, storage, and availability of supplies and repair parts onboard Virginia Class submarines. #LI-CJ1 *EP *MV *TL

What You Will Do
Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product. Provides support to the logistics outfitting for new construction submarines and warehouse management. What You Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Prior experience with U.S. Navy Shipboard Supply and Planned Maintenance systems and equipment. Familiar with stock control, material identification, and controlled equipage. Experience with parts screening databases (HAYSTACK, FEDLOG, GDAPL). Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.


Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
