HII- Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking for an Intelligence Analyst- Current Intel in Reston, VA. As an Intelligence Analyst - Current Intel, you will provide embedded and reach back support to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Improvised Threat efforts and operations executed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), committed warfighting units and partners. You will provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion that integrates existing national-level products and databases to define patterns of threat and network activity and narrow the search space to conduct CWMD operations. As required, you will interact directly with DTRA Senior Staff and deployed intelligence consumers during the development of intelligence products to meet intelligence requests for information.
Essential Job Responsibilities
You will work closely with other members of your team to identify trends, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of emerging threats. You will work within production schedules and coordinate with all parties involved to produce, deliver, and archive finished intelligence briefings to inform the command based on DTRA's critical information requirements. You will prepare and deliver the Daily/Weekly Update for DTRA's Director as well as provide information and analysis support to DTRA working groups and analytical teams. You will conduct continuous research and maintain an awareness of current WMD and improvised threat technology and TTPs used by the state and non-state human enemy networks. You will apply all-source analysis to improve the effectiveness of WMD and improvised threat to global situational awareness operations.
This position primarily provides services at the DTRA facility in the National Capital Region (NCR), however; there is an occasional requirement from some personnel to become embedded with deployed forces in an OCONUS theater of operation. This support may include deployments that are variable in length and rotational deployments that are short- (e.g., one month or less) or long-term (e.g., four to six months).
15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. You should be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on product development. Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends. Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
