The StormBreaker™ Program has four primary pillars, consisting of Production, Technology Upgrade (iECP) and Platform Integration & Test and Sustainment, each with varying financial performance and contractual EVMS requirements. StormBreaker has an immediate opening for a Program Cost Controls Principal Specialist.
This role will be supporting the execution of the StormBreaker Production contracts. Specifically, Production consists of completing the 5th Lot of StormBreaker AURs and planning/executing the next 3 Lots already on contract. StormBreaker is a future Raytheon franchise program with $300M+ in yearly revenue and strong growth projections. This specific financial role serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to program leadership in order to enable strategic decision leading to program execution and success.
This position is being offered in a remote capacity based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. Primary duties will include assisting in the execution of the current Production contracts and proposals for near-term contract awards. The successful candidate will support all aspects of financial performance analysis, create and review summary level contract performance information to help consolidate executive level financial performance presentations including EAC, AOP, Forecast, PAD Execution Reviews, and Mission Area reviews. In addition, this position will work closely with various functional organizations during the EAC development process, as well as monitoring these organizations performance against agreed upon budgets.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis or related financial experience; OR an advanced degree and 3 years' related financial experience
-Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
-Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, AO reports, power queries, advanced formulas).
-Experience in Financial forecasting, financial analysis as well as a program controls in a production environment
-Experience with SAP (PRISM, Business Warehouse or similar) and Microsoft Office
Qualifications We Value:
-Working knowledge of financial planning system (RPlan)
-Clear, succinct written and verbal communication skills
-Work relatively independently and be self-motivated, have excellent communication and leadership skills.
-Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
-Experience with project or task financial management and support including analyzing budgets, monitoring actual cost data, developing forecasts, and providing variance analysis.
-Experience with financial evaluations of production programs, engineering projects, and/or process improvements- strong understanding of what is driving variance within data sets.
-Defense Contracting Finance work experience.
