Job Description 

The Valkyrie Program Manager is a direct report to the Advanced Technology, Alternate Missions Program Director.  This position will provide team leadership among the program office, assigned integrated product, and cross product teams, with a focus on program execution for a large missile development program.

The program manager is responsible for program execution, coordination, and control and direct engagement with the government and program teams, and functional partners.  This role will also focus on program execution, strategy for a continued path forward, and meeting all program objectives.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Setting the program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for cross-functional teams
and sub-contractorsEstablishing and executing the baseline and managing the program's risks and opportunitiesFull accountability for their program's cost and schedule performanceBuilding strong external networks and relationships with multiple government partners and agenciesBuilding strong internal networks and relationships with multiple internal Raytheon Technologies programs and functionsExecuting their program's Estimates At Complete (EAC) cadence driving accountability
to each of the contributing functionsDriving affordability initiatives within their programs to drive an internal competitive advantageExecute daily program management and cadence i.e., risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program reviews such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and staffing and decision review to achieve contract commitmentsPreparing, revising, updating and monitoring required documentation and analysis
in compliance with contract requirements, Raytheon's Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) such as Gate reviews and GEM tool, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures

This position requires a current Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.  Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This position will be full-time onsite in Tucson, AZ. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications you must have:
Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance or similar discipline or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of relevant experience.10+ years' experience; preferably in Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or EngineeringExperience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, operations, engineering or Aerospace and Defense EnvironmentExperience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints to meet project deadlines and expectationsCandidate must have ability to obtain special program access

An active and in-scope DOD Top Secret US security clearance.

Familiarity with Raytheon businesses, policies, and practicesExperience working Captures and Pursuits; reviewing cost proposals and synthesizing Gate 4 and Gate 5 (IPDS) packages for Management Review and approvalExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience auditing accuracy of forecast labor and material requirements to produce reliable Estimates At Complete (EACs)Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimatingDemonstrated experience supporting capture efforts, strategy development, and proposal executionDemonstrated experience with Intellectual Property managementProgram Management certification, Level 4/5 or equivalent or ability to achieve within 6 monthsCandidate with an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with current SCI or SCI eligibility
