Job Description:

The Junior Logistics Analyst will directly support the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant’s (MMSC) FMS Program, primarily undertaking administrative tasking from senior PMS 525 Logistics leadership.

• Provides overall administrative support to the PAPM/DPAPM executing a myriad of administrative tasks that include but are not limited to:
• Coordinating team input on various deadline specific projects through use of Microsoft 360 tools, including but not limited to: Hosting MS TEAMs meetings, capturing meeting minutes, collecting attendance, scheduling and conducting effective meetings with all stakeholders, organizing brief development and review through multiple levels of leadership, use of Navy Flank Speed Apps including Planner, Sharepoint, MS Teams breakout rooms, Word, excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Lists, Forms, and Outlook.
• Participates in Leadership Operations to support tracking and management of de-conflicted schedules and calendars between team members.
• Drafts, formats, and finalizes official logistics Reports, Presentations, and Correspondence utilizing style guides such as PMS 525’s Writing Standards, U.S. Navy Style Guide, Government Publishing Office Style Manual, and the DoD Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms.
• Attends all meetings on behalf of the PAPM/D-PAPM, takes accurate and detailed meeting minutes, records action items, and distributes formatted and grammatically correct meetings minutes and action items within 5 working days of the meetings to all stakeholders.
• Prepares monthly articles (500-1,000 Words) for PMS 525’s Program Office newsletter regarding Logistics accomplishments, current events, Personnel changes, and long range programmatic strategy.
• Oversees, Archives, organizes, retrieves, and maintains Logistics documentation, deliverables, and Working papers in the Program’s OneDrive per the SECNAV M-5201 Records Management Manual.
• Tracks, manages, follows up, and provides weekly report with status updates for Meeting Minutes and Action Items to the PAPM/D-PAPM.
• Develops, Maintains, and distributes the 525L organization calendar to all stakeholders. Includes providing team members courtesy reminders of upcoming due dates, project deadlines, upcoming milestones, and Meetings to all team members to ensure maximum coordination and participation is achieved.
• Consolidates input for Monthly Status Reports and prepares logistics presentation that include Logistics Monthly, Deep Dives, Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT), and other meetings, upon request
• Updates and manages Travel Tracker for team Tour of duty (TDY) events, including collection of SITREPs and Trip Reports.
• Performs ad-hoc tasking, upon request
• Provides support to the Logistics Budget POC and Technical team leads, as required

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 0-2 years performing administrative tasks to Senior leadership, preferably in a DoD environment
• Willingness to learn and gain experience in Logistics disciplines across the 12 Integrated Product Support elements and Program Management.
• High level organization skills
• College level statistics experience.
• Ability to take direction and work independently and proactively.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience in formatting and use of style guides
• Ability to develop effective and relevant metrics and product data visualizations/graphics to help inform the team during decision making.
• Prior experience in planning, scheduling as well as preparing meeting minutes, official correspondence, and tracking action items
• Experience in executing meetings that includes video conferencing (e.g. MS TEAMS, Skype, OneDrive)
• Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 applications, especially TEAMS, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• MS Project and Tableau software experience, a plus.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
