Summary:
Designs the automation user acceptance testing process to verify that requirements and business objectives are successfully met. Writes automation test plans, engages with business users to determine if the delivered functionality satisfies the requirements, and works with development with resolve identified issues. Innovative problem solver with hands on testing experience and automating test cases using Selenium.
Essential Job Functions:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Strong expertise in designing and implementing UAT automation tests using Java and Selenium Proficient in testing and automating REST APIs and Web Services Experience working in an Agile development and continuous integration environment Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, SOAP/XML, SQL required Reviews business requirements and functional specifications to understand the functional and technical requirements. Develop user acceptance automation test plans by analyzing business requirements and engaging with project team members and subject matter experts as necessary. Tests functionality as business user or alongside business subject matter experts in order to test the delivered functionality in real-world scenarios and certify user acceptance criteria. Assures that issues uncovered during testing are tracked and corrected. Collaborates with external and internal development teams to address issues found during UAT and validates those corrective actions taken by development resolve those issues. Supports activities throughout the software development life cycle. Collaborates and supports business analysts and business representatives during the requirements elicitation process as needed. Responsible for validating UAT scenarios, test data creation, defect monitoring and regression during UAT and production validation activities. Experience and good understanding with Chrome Dev tools, UNIX command, Shell scripting, Eclipse, HTTP, HTTPS a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:
Graduate degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years of experience working in a software quality assurance and/or UAT roles. Automation Software Testing (QA/UAT): 3 years Traditional and agile software development life cycle: 3 years Mortgage knowledge. Strong communication skills. Effective investigative and analytical skills. Excellent writing skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to manage competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and deliver high-quality materials. Ability to handle UAT and Production validations outside of business hours and over the weekend. Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and workplace policies. Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write professional correspondences. Ability to write routine business reports. Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers. Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, students, parents and/or other employees. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
