Job Description:

· Advise the Deputy Principal Assistant to the Program Manager in planning and managing ship sustainment logistics efforts.
· Assist with development and conduct of plans and actions to meet annual sustainment logistics program goals.
· Assist with development and update of program-level documents, presentations and policies concerning all aspects of ship sustainment logistics.
· Coordinate with senior managers outside the program office including warfare centers, Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs), In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs), the Fleet, and industry.
· Draft official Navy correspondence and messages.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
· US Citizenship
· Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
· Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 15 years of directly related experience.
· In depth knowledge of ship sustainment processes from delivery through fleet introduction and life cycle sustainment in order to advise program office personnel on supply support issues.
· Experience in COSAL development, obsolescence, budget execution, provisioning and sparing, battlespare procurement, ILS products, ILS documentation, and configuration management.
· Familiarity with DoD and Navy acquisition policies and procedures, including NAVSEA and NAVSUP guidance and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
· US Navy Supply Corps experience
· Familiarity with CDMD-OA, ERP, PBIS
· Navy shipbuilding program or support experience

Desired Qualifications:
· BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience or
· MS + 12 yrs related experience

High school or ged

Pay Rate:

Commensurate with experience
