Job Title: Strategic Business Analyst, Junior - Research

Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking a Strategic Business Analyst, Jr. with strong research and writing skills to assist our client in Washington, DC. Job location is 300M Street SW in Strategic Insight's office spaces.

This position requires 43 hours a week in routine 8-plus hour days within a 0700-1800 operating environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

In a strategic planning center, work with teams to gather program requirements, collaborate, and offer ideas to address client issues.
• Work with various business functions to analyze work processes and products and help make strategic recommendations for improvements and integration.
• Research digital strategy concepts, trends, best practices, and lessons learned across industry and governments.
• Draft, edit, and proof-read documents and correspondence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and elicit and synthesize information through facilitated discussions.

Participate in continuous strategic planning and process review:
• Develop and brief PowerPoint presentations to mid/senior staff.

Success for working in this position requires:

• Self-starter, goal-oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments.
Knowledge of Navy/DoD processes and organizations.
• Conducting research as directed by staff.
• Excellent understanding of requirements analysis and synthesis.
• Knowledge of Agile principles a plus.
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including good sense of design, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills.
•Ability to help craft a story from non-linear content. Ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), to include the ability to create spreadsheets, presentations, and prepare specialized reports.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks, handle complex assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 0-5 years of related experience.
• Understanding of digital strategy desired.
• Familiarity with DoD and/or Department of the Navy desired.

Mandatory Requirement: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility for a government security clearance at the Secret level.
