The Administrative Analyst/Military Manpower Manager, Sr. for program management and administrative services support to our client on site at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.

Summary

This position requires working 43 hours a week in support of our Navy client located at the Washington Navy Yard, in routine 8.5-hour day within a 0800-1800 operating environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafting, editing, and proof-reading Navy correspondence, experience with Office 365 automated workflows preferred. Lead for Correspondence Management and action tracker. Manage Military Manpower accounts to include arrivals/departures, precedence listing and Long Range Training and Requirements Plan (LORTARP). Manage Military Awards program.
Success for working in this position requires:
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to think creatively on new concepts and various methods to share concepts. High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including good sense of design, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills. Experience in military manpower management and associated Department of Navy systems and applications. Experience with automated workflow, Office 365 tools preferred. Ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information. Self-starter, goal oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments. Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks, handle complex assignments, and work in a fast paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
No specific degree requirement. Overall 15 years progressively responsible administrative experience. . Experience with writing Navy correspondence. Experience in military manpower management and awards. Experience with Long Range Training and Requirements Plan (LORTARP) and Navy Department of Awards Web Service (NDAWS). Experience in support of DoD Program Office(s).
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.
Mandatory Requirement: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility for a government security clearance at the Secret level.
