Kearney & Company is seeking a Consultant to join the team in Washington, DC. The Financial Transformation Consultant will be a subject matter expert in using business intelligence tools to represent financial results. This role will have experience with financial processes advising Federal CFOs on solutions to improve financial statement and operational reporting. Resourceful and innovative: you are not afraid to dive into the data or research business operational context to design the best visualizations to support financial insights. As a key member of a highly collaborative Finance team, you thrive in sharing insights, knowledge, and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field8 years supporting Federal Finance and Accounting operationsUnderstanding of basic accounting principles8 years' experience pairing operational data with Federal financial resultsFederal Financial reporting experienceFederal Financial internal control experience
Advanced computer literacy required (VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI)Advanced Excel skills Familiarity with ERPs, budgeting/reporting tools, OracleExperience managing accounting data migrationProven KPI development and dashboard visualization skillsFinancial transaction lifecyclesFederal Financial systems, specifically general ledger, and financial reporting applicationsAnalyze large, unstructured, and complex finance, procurement, and asset management data sets identifying data anomalies, issues, and approaches to resolve discrepancies
