Job Summary:
The Event Registration, Project Manager is accountable for guiding the development of event registration website projects from early conceptual stages through completion. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of registration websites and specified deliverables. They will be hands-on in the website build and will be responsible for a variety of post-launch tasks including attendee management and payment processing. They will facilitate introductions to event technology partners and ensure any integrations between applications are setup properly. Where appropriate, they will serve as the point of contact for team members and act as a liaison between McKesson, our technology partners and service providers.
This candidate must be tech savvy and well-versed in event management systems. Attention to detail and time management skills will be paramount. Furthermore, this individual must be able to manage high-visibility projects with competing deadlines in an ever-evolving, stakeholder driven environment. Superior communication skills, written and verbal are critical to the success of this position. Creative and/or design experience would also be helpful in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize subject matter expertise to consult with internal stakeholders – gather event requirements, communicate business processes, and explain the technical capabilities of our registration tool
Establish deliverables and develop a timeline for project completion
Create graphics, website and email banners using the Adobe Suite
Create event microsites and the event registration process (website pages, sessions, fields/questions, travel dates, etc.), proofread content, test functionality, and provide ongoing support after launch
Administer e-mail content through the systems for various marketing and communication activities including save-the-dates, invitations, reminders, and registration confirmations
Ensure compliance with CCPA, GDPR and other privacy guidelines
Maintain detailed reporting, data and metrics as required – including but not limited to weekly/daily registration reports, housing reports, ad-hoc reporting
Manage invitation lists, edits/changes, data entry and quality of registration websites
Oversee integrations with other event or marketing technologies
Process payments for event registration and assist with reconciliation
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of marketing experience including 2+ years strategic event management software experience
2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
2+ years of experience in deadline driven environment
Critical Knowledge & Skills:
Proven experience with CVENT, Marketo, Workfront and Salesforce
Tech-savvy with strong aptitude for learning new tools/systems
Ability to manage several concurrent projects of differing sizes and complexity
Efficient trouble shooter, able to rapidly identify red flags, resolve conflicts and maintain momentum
Experience in corporate environment managing people and processes without formal authority
Possess a proven record of exceeding objectives via excellent communication, time management, relationship management and flexibility
High integrity, maturity, and emotional intelligence
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
