Position Summary:

Manager, Compliance and Ethics, Government Contracting will assist in the enhancement and maintenance of the government contracting compliance program for McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS). The position will be located in one of McKesson’s U.S. offices in Richmond, VA, Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA. The Manager will report directly to McKesson’s Senior Director, Government Contracting, Compliance & Ethics (within McKesson’s General Counsel Organization). The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that MMS has an effective compliance program for its government contracts.

The ideal candidate will have compliance experience in government contracting. He or she will have familiarity with the laws and regulations related to government contracting as well as the demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with large teams consisting of business, legal, compliance, audit and human resources colleagues in a highly-matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create compliance program around MMS’s government contracting, which includes:
Building the infrastructure to drive toward compliance
Helping ensure the appropriate standards exist, though written documentation, manual or automated processes
Creating and launching training programs to educate on key government contracting requirements
Undertaking a risk assessment to identify and prioritize key risks
Helping the business create and implement CAPAs for identified gaps
Developing a pulse monitoring program to validate on-going compliance for MMS’s largest government customers/contracts
Ongoing maintenance of the compliance program in accordance with DOJ guidance, including robust root cause analysis, data analysis for routine monitoring, and preventative and detective controls.
Adapt the compliance program to address key risks arising from businesses growth
Create reporting/dashboard metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the compliance program
Coordinate with other BU compliance programs to ensure consistency where appropriate, share best practices, and leverage Enterprise resources
Establish and support effective business processes and controls to ensure the organization is satisfying its government contracting regulatory and compliance obligations including remediating any identified gaps in a timely fashion.
Establish effective partnerships across the business and enabling functions, such as IA, HR, IT, Legal etc.
Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in building, enhancing and maintaining compliance programs focused on government contracting or 5 years of compliance experience, primarily in building programs.
Track record of creating the foundational elements of an effective compliance program such as drafting policies, creating and delivering training, and implementing effective compliance auditing and monitoring programs.
Experience with the relevant laws, rules and regulations.
Experience working collaboratively on cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.
