Current Need
We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, FL or Richmond, VA.
Position Description
Perform analytical work to support value capture, pricing initiatives and assist business partners. Work closely with business partners to employ pricing strategies to meet financial objectives. Utilize SQL, Excel, and Power BI to develop tools and reports, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, develop financial models, and create economic forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize SQL, Excel, and Power BI to develop tools and reports, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, develop financial models, and create economic forecasts related to pricing.
Partner with other Finance teams and other groups such as Sales, Marketing, Contract Admin and Category Management to execute pricing initiatives and improve pricing processes.
Improve existing processes that support pricing tools and models and create new tools and reports to address changing business needs.
Analyze trends to provide clear internal guidance with product pricing.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Critical Skills
Experience sharing insights from large datasets with business and leadership.
Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Experience using analytical and modeling tools, statistical software, or data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience building SQL queries strongly preferred.
Knowledge of pricing concepts.
Prior experience working with complex and unstructured data.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
Understanding of basic statistical concepts (e.g. analysis of variance).
Experience with product sales or margin analysis.
Analytical and mathematical ability with good organizational skills.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
Knowledge of VBA programing language preferred.
Experience with R and Python, Tableau and Oracle.
Education
4-year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred.
