About the opportunity:
When it comes to environmental consulting, we'rehelping our clients protect our world's natural resources.Jacob's ecology team is one of the UK's largest most dynamic and respected ecology teams. We have experts in almost every ecological field. The size and experience of our team allows us to work with some of the most respected organisations in the UK. You'll support some of the largest, complex projects in the UK.
Based in London Bridge you'll have the opportunity to nurture and mentor a team of ecologists working on a variety of projects. You'll enjoy demonstrating your project management skills as well as using your expertise to resolve technical issues as they occur.
You'll also be surrounded by opportunities for technical as well as career mentoring to ensure your own continued professional development.
Here's What You'll Need:
• An honours degree in ecology or related field
• Full MIEEM membership
• Eligibility for CEnv
• Proven experience of most aspects of ecological projects
• Thorough understanding of biodiversity legislation pertinent to the UK and Europe
• Capable of managing a challenging workload subject to change at short notice
• High level of personal responsibility
• Adaptable and flexible approach to different project requirements.
Ideally, here's what you'll also have:
• CEnv
• Postgraduate degree
• Full current driving licence
• Project management experience
• An ecological specialism
