WR has a potential need for a Visual Information Specialist that works collaboratively with team to help define requirements, develop concepts, and create content for various projects.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Designs and implements various graphics, such as charts, tables, diagrams, and photos to display visual content within written products and other media. Clarifies design issues to ensure presented information is represented accurately. Thinks creatively to present novel ways to present information. Assists in providing guidance to the customer on design, layout and presentation of their products. Creates custom graphics by translating complex data into easy-to-understand visuals. Revises and maintains media content.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
Must have one (1) of the following education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Communications, or related field with three (3+) years of experience providing design and production of Visual Information Support. Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Communications, or related field and six (6+) years' experience. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge. Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Active Secret Security Clearance required.
