Job Title: Facility Security Officer

WR is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team. The Facility Security Officer (FSO) will ensure compliance with government requirements and company security policies.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Will be providing administration and implementation of security documentation, controls, and procedures. Responsible for protecting classified information in multiple mediums. Tracks and ensures compliance with NISPOM and Government Industrial security requirements. Acts as the primary point of contact with DCSA. Processes PCLs, visit requests, foreign travel requests, facility security, and badging. Processes and maintains security clearance requests, background checks, and Common Access Card (CAC) regulations. Initiates, reviews, and processes personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigations through Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-Qip). Prepares DD-254s for subcontractors. Responsible for providing physical security of the Norfolk, VA location. Communicate and collaborate with the corporate FSO at the Fairfax, VA location Maintains employee and visitor badges and access control cards Implements updated development and training for staff safety. Responsible for the development of SOP's for security using COMSEC.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred) Completion of Facility Security Officer Program management for Processing Facilities (preferred) Six (6) + years of industrial security experience Two (2) + years in an FSO position Knowledge of current NISPOM and other Government Industrial Security requirements Experience working with JPAS, e-QIP, DISS, NISS, SPOT, ACCS; and SWFT systems Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience using Security Information Management System Software (SIMS)
