Shift: Mon-Fri 11:15AM-8:00PM; OT & On-Call as needed; Essential Personnel

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you would be processing all surgical equipment needed for production processing in accordance with defined standard operating procedures and governing standards in compliance with LifeNet Health's Quality Systems, Corporate Compliance programs and department safety policies and procedures.

Important: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.

This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor's gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

What you'll do:
Accurately inspects, prepares and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment effectively ensuring adherence to quality standards.Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned. Processes and completes associated case cart documentation.Sterilizes all equipment ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and respective SOP followed. Operates Steam and EO sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation.Participates in department continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management.
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
High School Diploma or GEDOne (1) year of work experience; Previous experience in a sterile processing environment or inspection role preferred CRCST Certification or equivalent preferred
