How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

The Corporate Paralegal performs legal tasks to support the Director, Corporate Contracts Management and legal functions of the company, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with corporate governance matters, assisting with legal compliance and risk mitigation.

What you'll do:
Reviews contractual documents from opposing parties to ensure documents comply with Company standards, identify any unusual compliance obligations or risks to review with the Director, Corporate Contracts Management, outside council and or Company leadership, and draft revised language for opposing party's contracts.Drafts legal documents and correspondence and provide technical edits and document updates.Provides legal research to support the Company's legal functions and risk management.Gathers, prepares, and reviews legal due diligence and other documents for transactional matters to ensure they are completed and handled in a professional, timely and confidential manner Prepares corporate organizational documents for filing with state regulators and other governmental bodies in jurisdictions in which the company operates. Responsible for maintaining annual filings and orders business entity documents from governmental bodies as necessary.Assists with corporate compliance program implementation and program monitoring.Oversees corporate collections matters in coordination with outside counsel and assist with filing of litigation documents.Oversees the legal docket to ensure matters are handled within all necessary guidelines and timeframes.Reviews records and responds to subpoena request and prepares litigation hold notices in a timely manner and coordinates correspondence with internal and external parties.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):Associates Degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, business, English or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five (5) years paralegal or legal assistance experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):Computer Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Attention to detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.Individual Development: Willingness to embrace and follow through on continuous learning.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organizationProblem Resolution: Ability to work independently and exercise judgement while developing and choosing alternatives to resolve business issues.
